Linda

Linda is a Registered Dental Hygienist who has been working with us at Yam Dental since 1989. She began her career with Dr. Yam by working as a receptionist and a Certified Dental Assistant, but then returned to school to earn her diploma in Dental Hygiene in 1993. Along with periodontal therapy, Linda is also highly trained in orthodontics as well as laser therapy.

Linda belongs to a professional organization that is dedicated to the prevention and treatment of gum disease. When not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

Kateryn

Kateryn arrived in Canada from El Salvador in 2008. She attended George Brown College, graduating with her Dental Hygiene diploma in 2016, and immediately began her career at Yam Dental!

Kateryn loves working with children, and has a special interest in orthodontics. She enjoys learning new techniques and furthering her education to be able to better help patients reach their dental health goals.

When not working, Kateryn enjoys going to the gym, singing, and spending time with her family and friends. She is fluent in Spanish.
